WhereCare Terms of Use

WhereCare was previously called WeeGo; the service, accounts and content are the same. These Terms govern use of the WhereCare PWA at wherecare.app and at its earlier address, weego.etherlabs.app. By creating an account or submitting content, you agree to these Terms and the Community Rules.

Who operates WhereCare

WhereCare is operated by an individual in the United States, not by a registered company. Questions about who runs the service can be sent to jon@etherlabs.app.

Beta service and eligibility

WhereCare is a production beta and may contain errors, incomplete records, interruptions, or breaking changes. It is available as a web/PWA experience; Android and iOS app-store releases are not yet available. The service is not directed to children under 13. Users who are not old enough to agree to these Terms where they live must use WhereCare only with a parent or guardian.

Not an emergency or accessibility guarantee

Venue information is reported by users or imported from third-party sources and can be outdated, incomplete, or wrong. Community-confirmed means the stated voting threshold was met; it is not a safety certification. Confirm critical accessibility, medical, hygiene, hours, and entry information directly with the venue. Do not rely on WhereCare for emergencies.

Accounts

Your contributions

You keep ownership of content you create. By submitting venue data, reviews, photos, or other content, you give WhereCare a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, display, distribute, and moderate that content as needed to operate, improve, back up, and promote the service. This license continues for retained public or moderation records after account closure, subject to the Privacy Policy and applicable law.

You must have the right to submit the content. Do not upload faces, private personal information, copyrighted images you cannot share, unlawful material, or content unrelated to the facility report.

Moderation and availability

WhereCare may review, label, hide, edit, archive, or remove content and may preserve an audit history. Community votes can change a place or facility’s visible status. Moderation decisions are made to protect accuracy, safety, and service integrity, but immediate review is not guaranteed.

Third-party services and navigation

Maps, place details, directions, email delivery, and network delivery depend on third-party services with their own terms. WhereCare does not control those services or the destination reached by an external navigation link. OpenStreetMap-derived data remains subject to its applicable attribution and database license.

No payment or advertising contract yet

WhereCare does not currently offer paid subscriptions, paid ad-free entitlements, or in-app purchases, and it does not currently request third-party ads. Any future paid or advertising feature will require updated terms and disclosures before launch.

Disclaimers and limits

To the extent permitted by law, WhereCare is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties that venue data is accurate or that the service will be uninterrupted. WhereCare is not responsible for venue conditions, third-party conduct, or decisions made from an unverified report. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited.

Changes, termination, and contact

These Terms may change as the beta develops. Material changes will be posted with a new effective date. You may stop using WhereCare at any time. Account, content, or Terms questions can be sent to support@etherlabs.app.
